Nochmals: Sommerhits

1. The Hustle  -  Van McCoy  -  Disco Baby  -  1975:

Do it!

Do it!Do it!
Do the Hustle!Do the Hustle!
Do the Hustle!Do the Hustle!
Do the Hustle!Do it!Do the Hustle!Do the Hustle!
Do the Hustle!Do the Hustle!
Do the Hustle!
Do the Hustle!

2. The Boys Of Summer  -  Don Henley  -  1984:

Nobody on the road
Nobody on the beach
I feel it in the air
The summer′s out of reach
Empty lake, empty streets
The sun goes down alone
I'm driving by your house
Though I know you′re not home

I can see you
Your brown skin shining in the sun
You got your hair combed back and these
Sunglasses on, baby
And I can tell, you
My love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

I never will forget those nights
I wonder if it was a dream
Remember how you made me crazy
Remember how I made you scream
Now I don't understand what happened to our love
But baby, when I get you back
I'm gonna show you what I′m made of

I can see you
Your brown skin shining in the sun
I see ya walkin′ real slow, smiling at everyone
I can tell you
My love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

Out on the road today
I saw a Black Flag sticker on a Cadillac
A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back
You can never look back"
I thought I knew what love was
What did I know?
Those days are gone forever
I should just let ′em go but

I can see you
Your brown skin shining in the sun
You got the top pulled down and the
Radio on, baby
But I can tell you
My love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

I can see you
Your brown skin shining in the sun
You got your hair slicked back and those wayfarers on, baby
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

3. The Three Degrees  -  When Will I See You Again  -  1973 ( 1974 ):

Hoo, hah

When will I see you again? When will we share precious moments? Will I have to wait forever? Will I have to suffer? (Suffer)And cry the whole night through?
When will I see you again? When will our hearts beat together? Are we in love or just friends? Is this my beginning or is this the end?
When will I see you again? When will I see you again? When will I see you again?
Hah, hoo(Precious moments)
Are we in love or just friends? Is this my beginning or is this the end? (Is this the end?)
When will I see you again? When will I see you again? When will I see you again?Sweet, sweet love of mine(When will I see you again?) Come on, come on(When will I see you again?) Tell me when(When will I see you again?) My sweet love, oh, yes(When will I see you again?) Ooh, yeah

4. In The Summertime  -  Mungo Jerry  -  1970:

In the summertime, when the weather is highYou can stretch right up and touch the skyWhen the weather's fineYou got women, you got women on your mindHave a drink, have a driveGo out and see what you can find
If her daddy's rich, take her out for a mealIf her daddy's poor, just do what you feelSpeed along the lane, do a ton or a ton and twenty-fiveWhen the sun goes downYou can make it, make it good in a lay-by
We're not grey people, we're not dirty, we're not meanWe love everybody, but we do as we pleaseWhen the weather's fine, we go fishing or go swimming in the seaWe're always happy, life's for livingYeah, that's our philosophy
Sing along with usDee-dee-dee, dee-deeDa-da-da, da-daYeah, we're hap-happy
Da da-daDee-da-da, dee-da-da, da-da-daYeah, da-da, da-da-daDa-da-da, do-da-da (alright, alright, alright)Alright
When the winter's here, yeah it's party timeBring your bottle, wear your bright clothesIt'll soon be summertimeAnd we'll sing again, we'll go drivingOr maybe we'll settle downIf she's rich, if she's nice, bring your friendsAnd we'll all go into town
